Welcome to the Wonderful World of Casino Chip Collecting! This Message Board is the Official message board of the ccgtcc which Welcomes members and non-members alike with questions like the one you have presented.

In reply, I offer this:

According to the 2 published price guides, that include this chip, one has it valued as $200 and the other at $75 - $99.

It should be noted that I referring to the $5 issue that is yellow, has a mold pattern of rectangles and hearts (RCTHRT), has 3 Navy (deep blue) inserts and a gold colored hot-stamp that includes the wording: "Eastern Nevada's Finest".

You should note that there at least 10 $5 chips issued by the casino over the years, but I believe that the yellow one described above, is considered the first issue.

Of course a picture is worth a thousand words, and if you have a scan, you can help us out by posting it here, so that we can include it as part of the ChipGuide Project. What is the ChipGuide Project, you ask, well here is the link to tyhe Hoel Nevada, Ely page ( http://www.themogh.org/cg_chip2.php?id=NVELHN ) and you should notice that that chip is not included. Therefore, we would certainly like to add it to the database. This database is attempting to catalogue all known casino chips, tokens and other casino related items, Worldwide!

The Project is an effort of the ccgtcc 's Museum of Gaming History (MoGH) and while we would appreciate your help, you are also welcome to explore membership in the ccgtcc. Unless of course you are already a member and I did not see you listed in the Membership Directory.

In any event, Happy Chipping!
