including this as a convention seminar topic sounds like an excellent idea. (By the way -- our new Education Direction is "Riverboat" Rick Pokracki if my memory serves me correct). As a matter of fact, it would probably be an excellent subject for the club magazine so that the information gets out to everyone that is a member, not just those attending the convention.

Short of suggesting the collection be donated to the (which is a great idea as well as a great tax deduction), there is little advice that the club can officially offer. The possible pitfalls of recommending any club member / dealer to assist in the disposal of a collection are numerous and not worth jeopardizing our 501(c)3 status nor our relationship with our members / dealers.
