!
Before I started to hang around the chipboard, I didn't vote. I read the magazine. It didn't matter much to me who was on the BOD...I didn't know anything about any of the candidates; I'd never been to a convention, never met any of them. Reading an election statement in the magazine really didn't tell me enough. Apathy? Maybe, but for all I knew, any one of the candidates for any election could've had a "Billy" personality...which would have been detrimental to the club
! Maybe it was more responsible to let the people who knew the candidates do the voting.
Now I hang out on the chipboard, and feel much better equipped to cast a vote, especially when the candidates also hang out there. 'Tho I have to admit it was tough to decide who to vote for for secretary! But I DID vote!
