You might have better luck with your scanner if you install only the minimal software drivers required to operate. Then use a simple graphics program such as Microsoft imaging (comes with windows) or Microsoft photo Paint (comes with MS office) It is obviously the one touch scanning features that are giving you grief. Uninstall all software that came with scanner then re-install choosing custom option & select only the drivers. most of the fancy type software just creates more headaches than it is worth. Find a scanning method that works & set resolution to about 150 dpi. Save files as *.jpg format for most universal compatability. Simple is ussually better, one touch copy/scan sounds good but more often than not creates problems.
