I'm pretty certain that the current BoD has very little desire to review or revise the 's Code of Ethics...just like it has very little desire to review or revise this unwritten rule. That rule has been in effect & obviously effective for many years and there has been no discussion or intent to change it. I guess that what is at issue here is the fact that several CLUB MEMBERS voiced an opinion about this matter and it just so happened that three of those CLUB MEMBERS were current BoD members. Now mind you, none of those current BoD members at that time had expressed a desire to revise or remove this "unwritten rule" and throughout this entire discussion, none of those current BoD members has expressed a desire to revise or remove this "unwritten rule".

I believe that everyone has the right to express their personal opinion, including the members of the 's BoD. And as I have noted earlier in this thread, I believe that ALL of our club's BoD members conduct themselves in a manner that considers the good of the club & its membership, even if it is contrary to one's personal beliefs.
