I've only been to one convention, and was only at that one for a few hours...does that mean I'm not a "truly commited" club member?
What about the fact that I've been a member for about 12 years? What about the hours and hours and hours I've spent researching and writing articles for our award-winning club magazine? Don't you think that might qualify me as a "truly committed" club member? You seem to be saying that anyone who doesn't attend the convention isn't committed to the club...and that's just wrong.
