One idea that wouldn't cost the club a dime ... is to encourage our convention-goers to wear their badges, out of show hours, while on the CASINO FLOOR. This simple act solicits inquiries by those who might be curious about our function(s) at South Point. I've had a couple in the elevator (contrary to what Perlowski spoke about) who read my badge and said, "that seems like an intersting hobby ... maybe we'll check it out while we are here." I'm sure there might be players in the casino who are not attending the convention might engage in some conversation with other players and dealers around the gaming tables simply by seeing our badges. Ditto in the restaurants, buffets, bars ... and yes, even the rest rooms.
**I would strongly suggest that 2012 Chairman Kruse does not intentionally drop his badge on the mens room floor of the stall he is seated in for his friend next door to view. *g*
A very disappointing happening for me!
