In so much that people who "pay" to get MUST registered to do so; use the contact information of NON-MEMBERS by sending out a post card in advance of the next convention. Our local coin club has been doing this for years.
The USPS web site offers this feature through a 3rd party company and they vet the list before sending it out so no postage is wasted or address that have changed or are no longer valid. The cost is LESS than if you sent out the post cards by yourself and runs less than 44c per postcard.
It gets a LOT of people through the door at a very low cost!
Simple, effective, and very cost effective at that. It will NOT blow the club's treasure.
