I like this idea. If all ballots would be removed & tossed in a separate bag or box, and then read after all envelopes are opened,then ballots would remain a secret vote .
I had 3 friends running for the same office. It was a tough choice to vote or not in this last election. I did not vote because vote was not secret enough. I did not want to slight either candidate. . This idea added to Mr. Hughes idea would get my vote in futre elections.
