before.
Thats because people dont care. Heck 75% of the people complaining over on the chipboard didnt even vote in the last election.
I guess my question is why spend the money to mail everyone prepaid envelopes in order to motivate people to vote?
The system we have now works and has always worked. The reason more people dont vote is that they just dont care.
Is there a way to improve the voting procedure? Sure there is as there is always a way to improve anything.
I have to ask though, whats is a better way to spend $1,500-$2000?
a) More advertising for the club
b) decreasing registration fees
c) keeping membership rates low
d) sending out 1,500 prepaid envelopes so people who dont care enough to vote on their own can more easily do so?
I guess I see things differently as I think a, b, and c are all more important than d.
The reason I say "put it to bed" is that time after time I see people claiming that somehow our current method is not confidential.
All this seems to do is stir the pot and some people start believing what is not actually true.
again just my opinion.
All I can promise is that this suggestion will be discussed among the BOD at the next meeting.
