Doug I been wanting to tell you what a great idea that is. The convention can be a bit intimidating if you are a new member and do not know anyone. I guess I was lucky and Gene introduced me to many members at the convention and I am beholding to him. I met people too numerous to mention and made some friends. So Gene was kind of like my unofficial mentor and it made the convention a nicer place for me. I hope many new members take you up on your offer. Oh and BTW I wish I still smoked as I would have taken you up on your offer of a cigar last year as I did smoke cigars for many of years but had to give up nicotine completely, that was very generous of you.
