book their rooms at the Riviera at the convention rates that the Riviera may not want us back?? It IS our responsibility then if we do not book enough rooms in our convention "block" to maintain the criteria necessary to keep the convention at the Riviera. It is still yours & mine & every other member's individual choice whether or not to stay at the "host" hotel, but it is important to keep the members informed as to the repercussions if the criteria is not met. Like I posted earlier, I was not fully aware of the impact and I appreciate being informed of it.

With regards to the room upgrades or the "comped" status of the rooms for the BOD, I could really care less. I am one that believes that rank has its privileges...the BOD members contribute a great deal of their time throughout the year, but especially during the convention (which, for most, is probably their vacation time). If they get room upgrades, free meals, free manicures & pedicures or "comped" rooms, I consider it rewards for their efforts. On the other hand, if you are playing those high limits and not receiving any comps or upgrades, I would seriously consider taking my gambling $$$ elsewhere (while still staying at The Riv ), 'cuz that just aint right. I'm not a big gambler so I really don't know how that "rating" thing works, but I find it amazing that, at those betting levels, you aren't taken care of.
